The Indo-Caribbean Society was envisaged in 2018 with the vision and mission to unify and advance our Indo-Caribbean interests by fostering joint and collaborative actions among different people, organizations and businesses. The society was established to build connections from the past and present economic, social and cultural environments.
This society was initiated by Texila American University team and interest groups from the Caribbean Region mainly from Guyana, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and Suriname. The idea for the formation of this society was in response to many queries of ways and means in formulating tangible links between India and its diaspora outside of mainstream connections.
